Crewley › How it works

How it works, from the case study to a running estate

Your practice management software stays, and clinical records never leave it. Crewley runs the work around it. Here's the route from a first look to agents running in your practice, and what keeps them running.

Four steps

From a free audit to a running practice.

  1. Free auditWe look at your recall, your phones and your enquiry follow-up, and find the one thing worth fixing first.
  2. See it on your setupOne working fix shown on your own systems where possible, rather than described.
  3. Build and testBuilt around your diaries, channels and staff. Tested on dummy records before anything reaches a patient.
  4. Switch on and watchSwitched on one piece at a time, with monitoring running from the first day.

Step one

The audit finds where time and patients slip.

It reads your recall settings directly, measures how long enquiries wait for a reply and, if you run adverts, checks whether anything is blocking your own buyers. You get one prioritised finding, in your practice's own numbers. If there's nothing worth fixing, you're told that plainly.

What "run" means

Every system is watched, and fails loudly.

An agent left alone after launch is a liability. A watchdog reviews every system every 30 minutes and reports problems without touching anything itself. A message that can't be handled is set aside and flagged, never quietly dropped. Both rules came from real incidents at Winstanley & Son and are now standard on every install.

TimeNobody has to check whether the morning's texts went out. If they didn't, you'll know why.

In detail

Questions about the build.

What does a build involve?

It starts with a setup pass specific to your practice: your diaries, channels, staff and the facts your team already knows. The install follows a fixed runbook: checks first, every piece imported switched off, every connection tested before anything touches a patient, tests on dummy records, then switching on one piece at a time.

Do I have to change my practice management software?

No. Whatever you already run stays exactly where it is. The audit is where we confirm how your diary and recall dates reach the agents without clinical records ever being part of that route.

What carries over from Winstanley & Son to my practice?

The guardrails: the watchdog, the fail-loud handling and the checks that confirm something actually happened. Every fault found at Winstanley became a standing rule, so your install starts with them on day one.

Where are clinical records in all this?

Inside your practice management software, where they've always been. Crewley runs messages, bookings, orders, recalls and reports. Full detail is on the Honest AI page.
